Ingredients

  1. Peaches 2 kilograms
  2. Sugar 300 grams
  3. Lemon juice from 1 lemon
  4. Water 1-1.5 liters

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the peaches.


Cut the peaches into halves and take out the seeds.

Rinse the peaches well several times. After drying them, and let the excess liquid drain.

Step 2: pour peaches with syrup.


Scald the cans with steam and place the halves of peaches tightly in them.
Boil water in a saucepan, dissolve sugar in it and mix well. Add lemon juice in the process.
Pour peaches in jars with hot syrup.

Step 3: pasteurize the jars.


Put a towel at the bottom of a large pan, make cans covered with lids and pour water over their shoulders, put the pan with cans and water on the stove and wait for the water to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the cans from the pan, close the lids tightly and turn them upside down. Allow to cool.

Step 4: serve the peaches in syrup.


Store peaches in the basement or in the refrigerator so that they lie longer. Such fruits can be served with ice cream, added to baked goods and eat just like that.
