What can I bring you better on the occasion of the 1600th recipe? What I know how to do better: soup. Good, warm, Transylvanian soup with homemade ribs, prepared with love !!!

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 1 piece of smoked ribs, as big as it is eaten
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 parsley root
  • 1 tablespoon kapia pepper paste with own celery-production
  • 1 teaspoon paprika red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste - own production
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 glass of red broth-own production
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green larch
  • salt-optional

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Potato soup with smoked ribs - recipe no. 1600:


  1. The smoked ribs are washed and portioned into smaller pieces.

  2. Put the ribs to boil in 3 l of water.

  3. Meanwhile, clean and wash the vegetables.

  4. Cut the potatoes into cubes, onion and garlic into small cubes.

  5. Cut the vegetables into quarters, then slices.

  6. Lightly sauté the chopped vegetables. Add paprika and pepper paste.

  7. Pour over hot water in which boiled ribs.

  8. Move and rib along with the rest of the ingredients.

  9. Put the potatoes to boil [the vegetables are already half penetrated from the sauté].

  10. Don't forget the bay leaf.

  11. At the end add the chopped green larch.

  12. We put next to the potato soup with smoked ribs, homemade bread and red onion.
