  1. Chickpea (dry) 500 grams
  2. Onion 2 pieces
  3. Tomatoes 2 pieces
  4. Garlic 3 cloves
  5. Bay leaf 1 piece
  6. Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon
  7. Salt 1 teaspoon
  8. Vegetable oil 1 cup

Step 1: soak chickpeas.

Bake in preheated 170 degrees oven for 4 hours. This is a long time, but there is no need to interfere and follow it somehow additionally, you just need to wait. Once again, I note that you do not need to mix during cooking.
4 hours is enough for the chickpeas to cook, but not digested.

Step 4: serve the baked chickpeas with vegetables.

If you serve chickpeas as a main lean dish, just put it on a plate and eat a little bite with, say, bread. I like it, tasty and satisfying. On a typical day, chickpeas prepared according to this recipe are used as a nutritious side dish.
